I've been a member here for a long time. I sold my silver CRX last year (and still miss it). Time to sell the green one. I am too old and fat for CRX's anymore. I love them, but I am almost 50 and need something else. This car has sat for 7 years in the garage. I spent $2,500 on clutch, timing belt, water pump, brakes, alarm system with power locks at the time. I even submitted a pic of it on Wikipedia that has been there now for years. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CR-X ... generation

Upside:
Car is in fantastic stock condition with no rust, mint seats, etc. Very rare these days. 170,000 miles. VIN = JHMED9368MS004854

Downside:
1) The car has not been started in years and although I can vouch for it, you would be buying it without starting. I do not want to start it without changing fluids and filters, cleaning the tank, etc. The engine does spin with the ignition and fuel disconnected.

2) Although I have the title that was signed over to me, I never titled it in my name. I did not think it would be a big deal to do it at a later date, but then found out that Texas charges a $25 a month late fee, without a maximum. So you will need to follow whatever bonded title procedure is the process for your state. In Texas, this is no big deal: http://www.txdmv.gov/vehicles/titles/bonded.htm.

Charles, I can't believe that you were "clueless" regarding the scratches on the door edge. As the past owner of THREE 1991 Honda CRX's (two TG Si's), I know EXACTLY what they are from- the effing door-mounted seatbelt buckle getting caught in the closing door. I'll bet that the grey interior door panel had several "smiles" cut into it near the back edge, right?

I'd have loved to snatch this TG up, too. My sole existing '91 TG Si has 227,000 miles, a LOT of body rust, and recently blew the head gasket while the wife was driving. So we're "stuck" driving my near-cherry '97 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS-T (turbo convertible) in the meantime.

And waz dis jazz about being "too old" at 50 to drive a CRX? I'm 61 and STILL luv CRX's. I'm in the market for ANOTHER right now. BTW, I'm the forum member that put 371,000 miles on a '88 DX 5-spd before selling it.
