I have a D16a6 and will Mini-Me with a D16y8 head.
I'm looking for adjustable camgears but I'm not sure if the are all clocked the same or if they are different ones for a6, z6, y8, etc.

Thank's.

Gus

88-95
96-00

But if your buying an adjustable, doesn't really matter, just have to know the difference of about 5 degrees.

Hate to dig up such a old thread from Gus.....(Gustavo) but the CRX I'm to be buying Saturday is the one he built.

Wait... what? Did I read that right? Is Bone finally getting a CRX?

(thought I read somewhere that you've never owned one, even thought you've been here forever... [not an age joke!])

You are correct.

I have one main issue with CRX's, seating position, same reason I hate del Sol's, sitting with legs straight out it not comfortable for me. Everything else about the car oversteer/Gus built is the way I would have done it.

I hope to be able to modify the seats so the base has more rake and then I should be happy.

I was looking for a 88-89 STD (lighter) and DIYSLIDave pointed out this CRX for sale. I thought long and hard. I wanted a fun car, was planning on drag racing http://www.umtrdragrace.com local races as well maybe some limited cone killing.

The Quaife sealed the deal for the drag racing, no worries about exploding a diff.

At least I'll be able to properly wear my T-Shirt........and might need another. I think I ordered a Large last time, well it is REALLY tight as I'm now Natedog size.

Ha, ha, ha.... What a small world. Should make a very light car. Let me know if you have any questions.

Gus

I don't think Braian knows/remembers all that was done to the car.

I would guess the tub has about 350k miles on it now?

From what I can figure, the 298k HF got the 145k Si parts, including the gauge cluster.

Also your sig states a "Quaifed ZC tranny".......is it a close ratio ZC or just a Si?

Will be reading SCCA rules to see what class it would fit in, I have my old 13x7's with DEAD BFG R1's from 10 years ago, find some Hoosiers to out on and go scare some cones.

Also in my searching, I found a 2007 profile from Brian in INDY with a White HB in STS, you loaned him some wheels/tires.....I sold him the A6 that he was running in the HB.

Small family....thinks come full circle for a reason it seems.

BUMP!!!!!

Digging through here again I find out Gus bought the trans from Bryson in 2003, 88, with 212mm 6 puck clutch....later I would sell him trans parts on HT under the name Boostwerks.
