I think that might be one of the nicest sights I've seen in a loong time!

Dyno Dynamics dyno. Race-spec JDM DOHC to my standards. The pull on the chart is from 2.5-7.5K. The torque curve isn't placed correctly due to the dyno getting out of sync with the engine. It thought the engine was turning 9.2K at the top.

And no, that is the only chart I will post. That is how high they are revving it. Yes, it can make more power. Easily.

Nice!

I've used an "uphill dyno" before and had to deal with people hatin' on the numbers... so I know how that goes.

Sucks when the tach pickup doesn't work right too. Is that mph on the bottom axis?

No, really skewed RPM. The peak was 9200RPM. I didn't want people thinking less of the engine. If they had kept revving it, I bet we'd have cracked 150! But they are conservative. LOL!

So when do we get more info??

I got sick of them tacho screw ups and started using this feature on the dyno where you hold it at a certain rpm and the dyno 'learns' your gear.

That's what happened. The Dyno "lost" the gear info for some reason on that run.

I can release info on it possibly later in the year after their season is over, or never. heh
